There won’t be a shortage of smartphone unveilings at Mobile World Congress in early March, but you can cross LG’s new G4 off your wishlist right away. Samsung’s next-generation Galaxy S6 may be about a month away from its official unveiling, but the South Korean company is already showing it off at CES 2015 in Las Vegas, it has confirmed. Don’t expect to see any early glimpses of the handset, however, because only “select partners” get to look at it.

With the Galaxy Note Edge’s curved display being well received by both consumers and critics, you can expect Samsung to use the same technology in future handsets. In fact, according to some sources familiar with its plans, the upcoming Galaxy S6 will have a display that curves on both sides — as well as an all-aluminum chassis.

Samsung could be planning to bring forward the unveiling of its much-improved Galaxy S6 by making a surprise appearance at CES 2015 in January. Sources familiar with the company’s plans in South Korea say a second device — a Galaxy S6 Edge — will also be shown off alongside it.
