T-Mobile U.S. is now accepting pre-orders for Google’s latest flagship smartphone, the Nexus 5, on its official website. As expected, the handset’s total pricing is pretty similar to other operators on the market, however, T-Mobile is the only carrier to offer the device with a $41.99 down payment, followed by 24 monthly payments of $17, which adds up to a rather hefty $449.

The LG G Flex — the curved-glass smartphone that really flexes — is coming to Europe next month after making its debut in South Korea. The device will be available in France initially, and you’ll need to start saving now if you want to buy it off contract, because it won’t be cheap.

When it came to naming its new curved-glass smartphone, it seems LG didn’t choose the name “G Flex” arbitrarily. Instead, the handset earned that name because it really does bend and flex (without breaking) when you apply enough pressure to it. Check it out in the video below.

Nexus-One-to-5

The Nexus 5, as its name suggests, is the fifth smartphone to be born into the Nexus family, and by far the most powerful. Its 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, 1080p display, and 2GB of RAM make it a big improvement over even last year’s Nexus 4.

LG’s new Nexus 5 may launch with Android 4.4 KitKat right out of the box, but owners of the company’s flagship G2 won’t have to wait too long for the update. According to leaked information from French operator SFR, the G2 will get the release in either November or December.
