Packing for the supposed red Nexus 5 has shown up on Twitter, suggesting the handset’s official debut may be right around the corner. The shots above and below show the handsets in LG boxes ready to leave the company’s warehouse, and this particular batch appears to be headed to Great Britain.

Optimus G Pro

LG has confirmed that it will be unveiling its new G Pro 2 smartphone at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month. The original 5.5-inch Optimus G Pro made its U.S. debut last May as LG’s answer to large smartphones like the Galaxy Note, and it’s thought the G Pro 2 will be even bigger.

AT&T has begun taking pre-orders for the LG G Flex, with prices starting at $299.99 when you take out a new two-year plan. Those who prefer no annual contract will pay an eye-watering $694.99, and shipping begins on Tuesday, February 4.

The South Korean government has ruled that smartphone users must be allowed to remove Android bloatware pre-installed by carriers and handset makers.

Korea’s Ministry of Science, ICT, and Future Planning (MISP) said that these apps are an “inconvenience” to smartphone users, and it has given the likes of Samsung and LG until April to make changes to their software before the new rules are implemented.
