LG has today announced that its new G Pad 8.3 tablet is coming the U.K. and Ireland before Christmas. The device will be available for around £260 ($414), which makes it just £60 more expensive than Google’s new 16GB Nexus 7. That’s not bad when you consider the G Pad 8.3 has a bigger display, a bigger battery, and a faster processor.

Yesterday, a video materialized showcasing Google’s flagship Nexus 5 running Android 4.4 – which is scheduled to be unveiled later today. Now, less than 24 hours later a mass of leaked screenshots have emerged, highlighting a 2013 model of the Nexus 7 running what appears to be Android 4.4 KitKat.

Google is expected to unveil the much-anticipated Nexus 5 tomorrow, but thanks to a new hands-on video, you don’t need to wait to see the device in all its glory. The 7-minute clip below showcases the handset’s new design from every angle, and gives us a sneak peek at its Android 4.4 KitKat software.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 mini hasn’t quite made its way to the United States yet, but it looks like we won’t be waiting too much longer. The device has leaked en route to AT&T and Sprint in black mist, white frost, and pink.

Nexus 7 KitKat

We’re still eagerly anticipating the invitations to Google’s Nexus 5 event, where we’re also expecting to see the launch of Android 4.4 KitKat. But according to whispers going around the search giant’s Launchpad developer event in Europe this week, the big event is less than a week away.
