Samsung-Galaxy-J

Samsung’s Galaxy J, a 5-inch smartphone with a 1080p display that has been exclusive to Japan, is officially coming to Taiwan. The device will be available in red and white from mid-December, but there’s still no word on whether it will be coming to the U.S. or Europe.

According to a Motorola insider, U.S. Cellular is preparing to finally push the much-anticipated Android 4.4 KitKat upgrade to its carrier-branded version of the Moto X tomorrow, via the stock Android over-the-air update service. In addition to KitKat, this upgrade also brings several improvements to the preloaded camera application and enhancements for the Touchless Control service.

The team behind CyanogenMod has announced that it is ready to begin work on new ROMs based on Android 4.4 KitKat after CyanogenMod 10.2 (based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean) reached stable status this week. This means CM 10.2 is now officially ready for public use.
