If you’ve been desperately waiting to get your hands on a OnePlus One, but you just cannot bag an invite, today’s the day you can finally place a pre-order. You’ll only have an hour to get your order in, however, so if you haven’t already, go fill your basket now so that all you have to do later is pay.

Those still waiting to get their hands on the incredible OnePlus One will be able to pre-order the device without an invite starting Monday, October 27, at 8 a.m. Pacific. You’ll have to act fast if you want one, though, because OnePlus is giving fans just one hour to get their order in.

Still waiting for an invite to purchase the OnePlus One? So are thousands of others — but come October, the device should be a great deal easier to get hold of. OnePlus has today confirmed that it is finally preparing to abandon its invite system altogether and introduce a more traditional pre-order system instead.

OnePlus is holding another invite giveaway right now, and it’s by far the most sexist giveaway you’ll see today. Not only must you be female to be in with a chance of winning, but you must also upload a picture of yourself to the OnePlus forum and hope your photo gets more likes than everyone else’s.

Samsung has today begun issuing press invites for an Unpacked event on Wednesday, September 3, where the South Korean company is expected to unveil its much-anticipated Galaxy Note 4 and other new devices. The event will take place in Berlin where IFA 2014 kicks off just days later.
