Amazon is currently offering up some incredible smartphone deals for Cyber Monday, so if you’re looking for a new handset on contract, you don’t want to miss them. A number of high-end devices, including the LG G2 and the HTC One, are just $0.01 upfront for a limited time, while Google’s new Nexus 5 will cost you just $10.

Oppo’s flagship N1 handset, which went on sale in China in late September, is going global on December 10. The device is fully equipped to compete with the latest flagships — packing a 5.9-inch 1080p display, a quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, and a 13-megapixel camera — and it’ll cost $599 in the U.S. and €449 in Europe.

Tomorrow, people in the United States will be able to purchase HTC’s upscaled One variant, the One Max, on any of Verizon’s or Sprint’s 2-year contracts for $149.99 — that’s $100 off the usual price. This promotion is another in a long line of Cyber Monday celebrations and, obviously, is only available online and not in the retailers bricks-and-mortar stores.

HTC is in the process or pushing out the much-anticipated over-the-air (OTA) update to all Unlocked and Developer Edition One handsets located in the United States. This upgrade brings the latest build of Android 4.4 KitKat and Sense 5.5 to the device, together with a multitude of additional bug fixes and speed optimizations, as well as a comprehensive redesigned multitasking system.

HTC is reportedly looking to turn its back on Qualcomm and purchase its smartphone processors from other manufacturers instead. The company has already launched two entry-level Desire devices with ST-Ericsson and Spreadtrum Shark chips, but it could be looking for cheaper alternatives to high-end processors as well.
