Dell doesn’t usually impress us with its Android-powered offerings, but its new Venue 8 7840 tablet could be far more impressive than the onslaught of new slates we see at CES this week. It’s powered by a speedy Intel processor, has four cameras, and takes the title of the world’s thinnest tablet to date, measuring just 6mm thick.

While Samsung’s smartphone sales may be falling, those who are buying its devices couldn’t be happier with them. In a new satisfaction study, the South Korean electronics giant beat even Apple to the top spot of the smartphone category, while Nokia ranked higher than BlackBerry, LG, and even HTC.

With HTC’s One M9 unveiling expected to happen at CES, it’s no surprise we’re already seeing some leaks; after all, HTC isn’t exactly the best at keeping its upcoming products a secret. According to one reliable source, the handset is going to impress with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 810 processor, a much-improved rear-facing camera, and the new Sense 7 user interface.

HTC has been hard at work on its Lollipop update for the One M8 since Google made the Android 5.0 firmware available to hardware makers, and it has promised that users would see it within 90 days of the AOSP release.
