It appears Sony’s Xperia Tablet S isn’t as “splash proof” or “water resistant” as they claim. Those buzzwords are now coming back to haunt Sony as sales of the Xperia Tablet S have been halted due to a manufacturing flaw that actually makes the tablets susceptible to water damage. Quite the opposite of what they are touting.

Out with the old, in with the new. That’s how the saying goes and that’s what we’re starting to see as carriers and retailers begin discounting their old hardware in preparation for the newer models. One such price cut can be seen on Amazon Wireless; where the 32GB DROID RAZR MAXX is now only $49.99 for new customers signing a 2-year contract.

Yesterday we caught wind of a rumor suggesting a 32GB Nexus 7 was on the way. Today, more evidence suggesting so has popped up, along with a possible release date. According to Droid-Life, a reader of theirs came across the 32GB model on one of their purchasing systems, prompting him to call his reseller for more details. Once he contacted his reseller, he was informed that they would be receiving them around October 24, and that it was a “special” model.”

AT&T has announced that they will be the first to carry the 16MP, Android 4.1 touting, 4G Samsung Galaxy Camera we told you about back in August. AT&T is taking a gamble on this unique product, and I, for one, am curious to see how it turns out. I personally don’t believe there’s a market for it, but you never know (just look at the Galaxy Note).

Before you go getting too excited, none of this has been confirmed, however, these names did pop up in the inventory system of British retailer Carphone Warehouse. While we have no idea what a Nexus 2 would or could be, the 32GB Nexus 7 sounds right up my alley.
