If you happen to be the owner of a GSM/HSPA Galaxy Nexus or Nexus S, you might want to keep your eye out for an update. According to reports, Android 4.1.2 has begun rolling out to the “yakju” Galaxy Nexus and the “soju” Nexus S. This isn’t surprising since Google posted the factory images just a few days ago and it’s only been about a week since Nexus 7 owners received the update. .

Motorola DROID Bionic owners don’t have much to be happy about these days but perhaps an Ice Cream Sandwich update will be enough of a refresh to get them through their contracts. Reports are coming in that Motorola has begun sending out emails to members of the Motorola Feedback Network, inviting them to take part in an upcoming soak test for the Bionic. While the invitation doesn’t specifically indicate that the software upgrade will be Android 4.0, there’s a high probability that it is.

If you’ve been thinking about picking up a Samsung Galaxy S III, you might want to consider hitting up your local Best Buy this Sunday. On October 14, customers can save $100 on their purchase of a Samsung Galaxy S III. The news release is very vague so that’s really all we have to go on. We’re not sure if the $100 off applies to both the subsidized and retail price or just one. If it’s off of the current subsidized price, then that would put the Galaxy S III at $99 and that’s one heck of a deal.

Verizon has come out and confirmed an October 18 launch date for the Motrola DROID RAZR HD and RAZR MAX HD. I’m expecting a full onslaught of marketing to accompany these devices as Verizon seems partial to the RAZR line. The next iteration of the RAZR line will feature similar specs, with the only distinguishable advantage being the larger battery and storage available in the RAZR MAXX HD (which I find lame of Motorola).

Looks like T-Mobile just found itself its next best seller. T-Mobile has announced that the Samsung Galaxy Note II will be available on their network this fall. “This Fall” seems to be the new launch date for everything, but at least we know it’s not far off (couple weeks). T-Mobile hasn’t revealed pricing, but we know they will be carrying both the Titanium Gray and Marble White color options, each of which will sport:
