Thanks to Best Buy and Sam’s Club, we’ve known what the new Nexus 7 looks like, what’s inside it, and how much it costs since early this morning — but at an Android event in San Francisco just now, Google’s Sundar Pichai has finally made it all official.

As expected, the new Nexus 7 will be the first device with Android 4.3, and you can pre-order yours today.

Google’s Sundar Pichai will host an Android event in San Francisco today, where we expect to see Android 4.3 and the new Nexus 7 get their official unveilings. But the latter has already been put up for pre-order at Best Buy and Sam’s Club, where its price tag and specifications are confirmed.

As expected, the second-generation Nexus 7 will be the first to run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and it will do so with the help of a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, Adreno 320 graphics, 2GB of RAM, and either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage.

The Mini is the smallest of three new Motorola devices, featuring a 4.3-inch 720p LCD display, compared to its brothers the Ultra and the Maxx which both feature a 5-inch OLED screen.
