He may have been misquoted about disliking the new iPads, but Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak recently had something else to say which might prove even more controversial: that Apple and Google should work together.

“Sometimes I say ‘Go to Joe’s Diner’ and [Siri] doesn’t know where Joe’s Diner is,” Woz told the BBC’s UK technology program Click — adding that, “Usually I find out that Android does.”

Google may not be bringing Android 4.4 KitKat to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, but it’s still supporting newer Nexus devices. So you’re probably wondering when the update will be coming to your Nexus 4, Nexus 7, or Nexus 10. Well, Google hasn’t given us a specific release date yet, but it has said “soon.”

The Google Play editions of the Galaxy S4 and the HTC One are on its list, too.

With the Samsung Galaxy Nexus celebrating its second birthday this month, we had a feeling it wouldn’t be long before Google finally stopped supporting it with the latest Android updates. And shortly after it announced the new Nexus 5 with Android 4.4 KitKat on Thursday, the search giant confirmed the Galaxy Nexus was getting left behind.

Motorola is in the process of pushing out a largely-requested update via Google Play for the official Moto X camera application. The upgrade brings a brightened camera viewfinder, a Quick Capture mode for Enterprise users and a truckload of stability improvements and bug fixes. So, all-in-all it’s a pretty significant update that we would advise all Moto X owners to download.

The wait is finally over — the new Nexus 5 with Android 4.4 KitKat is now available to order through Google Play. The device is a lot like LG’s flagship G2 on the inside, featuring a 4.95-inch 1080p display, LTE connectivity, and a speedy Snapdragon 800 processor. It’s a heck of a lot cheaper, though, with prices starting at $349.
