Google-Play-Music-All-Access

Earlier today, Google launched its Google Play Music All Access streaming service in Ecuador, Guatemala, Uruguay, Paraguay, the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Panama, El Salvador and Nicaragua. However, there have been some reports suggesting that the service is not yet live in all nine countries.

Like clockwork, Google has updated its the Android version distribution chart with updated data for a 7-day period ending on August 12. According to the latest data from the company. the latest version of Android — KitKat — grew by over 3%  to 20.9% in just a month.

Today, Google started pushing out an update for its official Google+ application via the Play Store. In terms of added functionality, this upgrade brings users the ability to cast their timeline to any Chromecast connected TV, in addition to a handful of bug fixes, stability improvements and speed optimizations.

YouTube-offline-mode

Google rolled out an update for its YouTube app this week accompanied by new Google Play screenshots that tease a new offline mode. The unreleased feature is expected to allow users to save videos locally for a short period of time so that they can be enjoyed without an Internet connection.

Hugo-Barra-Xiaomi

Xiaomi has apologized after it was found to be uploading contacts lists to its servers without obtaining permission from its users. The Chinese company insists that protecting user data and privacy is a “top priority,” and it has now made its MIUI Cloud Messaging service optional.
