Google is again offering 75 percent off movie rentals from the Play Store for a limited time, just a month after running exactly the same promotion. The discount is available until March 31, and it’s available on any of the movies you’ll find in the Play Store.

Google Play may have trounced iOS in terms of sheer downloads, garnering twice as many as the Apple Store did last year, but it’s Apple’s digital storefront that rakes in the cash, according to a new study from App Annie.

In 2014, Android already had a 60 percent lead over iOS; it’s now at 100 percent, marking what could be some major changes in how marketing dollars are spent across the big two mobile platforms.

Both Android and iOS grew, revenue-wise, but iOS still holds the clear lead in the race for consumer spending.

Google is currently offering not one, not two, but three full albums for free with a further 19 albums also on offer for a paltry $0.99.

Available to download via Google Play Music, the free and heavily discounted albums are yours to keep once you have added them to your account and should contain enough music to keep you entertained for a good number of hours, no matter your musical tastes.

Google’s answer to Apple Pay may have been late to the game, but it’s already leading the way with a new rewards program — and it’s awesome.

Dubbed “Tap 10,” the program offers up free Google Play content simply for using Android Pay on a regular basis, and there’s even a mention of Chromecast giveaways.

Google has pulled 13 apps from the Play Store for secretly downloading malware onto users’ devices. At least one title had more than 1 million downloads before it was removed, and all had glowing reviews and great ratings. But they weren’t genuine.
