Google Glass is the future of technology. Maybe. But for most of us, it will be at least 6-12 months before we ever get to touch Google’s futuristic piece of headwear. In the meantime, Google wants to make sure everyone is prepped in advance and knows how to use Glass so it’s making a series of videos to get you up to speed.

Google just released its first instructional video for Glass on its new Google Glass YouTube channel . The video, titled “Glass How-to: Getting Started,” covers the basics on how to use Glass. It briefly runs down features like the TouchPad, cards, sharing photos, navigation, etc. Sadly, it doesn’t cover how to not look like a weirdo while wearing Glass.

Take a look:

Google-Glass

Google has been keen to show us what Google Glass can do, and this week the company revealed the specifications behind the magic. In addition to a 5-megapixel camera capably of recording 720p video, the snazzy spectacles will pack 16GB of internal storage, and a 640×360 display that is the “equivalent of a 25 inch high definition screen from eight feet away,” according to Google.

Samsung-Galaxy-Note-II

Samsung has launched some of the post popular Android handsets of all time, with its Galaxy S series — which includes the Galaxy S II and the Galaxy S III — selling more than 100 million units. But the devices certainly aren’t popular for their build quality.

All of Samsung’s devices are made of plastic, and although they look good, they don’t feel anywhere near as nice as competing handsets like the iPhone 5, the Nexus 4, and any of HTC’s high-end Android handsets — particularly the new HTC One — which use materials like glass and aluminum to provide a premium feel.

But Samsung isn’t about to change that for the upcoming Galaxy S IV. The Korean company has confirmed it will continue to use plastic, and it has its reasons for doing so.

Wallpaper- Smash

We simply love wallpapers. They’re one of the first changes we make to our Android devices and often represent our moods, interests, or wicked alter egos. They’re as unique as the individuals who use them! Each day we’re going to feature a free wallpaper for you to download and use on your Android device.

Google-Project-Glass

Google has today announced two two-day hackathon events for customers who pre-ordered the Explorer Edition of Project Glass. The events, dubbed Glass Foundry, will be held in San Francisco and New York, and they’ll give developers the opportunity to become the first group to collectively build software for the upcoming device.
