MADFINGER Games just recently released a pretty big update to its zombie killing hit Dead Trigger. Not only did they add a variety of new weapons and content, but they also made the game FREE! That’s right, you can know get your carcass exploding, headshotting, blood bath on without having to reach for your wallet.

If you’re itching for some more Batman action after the credits have rolled in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises, then why not continue protecting Gotham City in Gameloft’s latest release for Android and iOS? As promised, Gameloft has released it’s newest game, The Dark Knight Rises, in conjunction with the blockbuster movie in theaters today.

It’s taken a bit to get here, but Square Enix’s Lara Croft And The Guardian of Light has finally landed in the Play Store — too bad the majority of you won’t get to play it. Square Enix decided to jump into Sony’s pockets and make the game an Xperia exclusive. Judging by the game’s less than 50 downloads, it looks like that was a smart move /s.

Verizon has announced the launch of GameTanium, a subscription based gaming service, for select Verizon Android phones and tablets. For a monthly fee of $5.99, Verizon customers will have unlimited access to more than 100 Android smartphone games and more than 50 tablet games, including hits like Doodle God, Fruit Ninja and World of Goo. While I’m not a fan of subscription services, if GameTanium stays up-to-date with the latest hit Android games, it could save users the hassle of trying to figure out what games to buy, as well as save them a bit of money.

Get in your doomsday bunker because Rovio has released a new game. That’s right, Casey’s Contraptions Amazing Alex is now available on both the Google Play Store and App Store. You’ve seen the trailers and now it’s time to see how much weight Rovio’s name carries.
