By now you may have heard of a little company called Gameloft. I personally share a love/hate relationship with their amazing mobile games and horrific marketing techniques but I’ll spare you any rants. I’m here to let you know that another hit Gameloft game has made it to the Google Play Store and the best part is it’s free. You’re going to want to check out Six-Guns, a kill-or-be-killed third person shooter that mixes the wild West with the supernatural. Six-Guns will have you gunslinging for gold as you explore the open lands of Arizona and Oregon with challenges and evil lurking around every tumbleweed.

When we told you Gameloft would be kicking off the new year by discounting all of its Android Market titles to $0.99, many headed straight to the Android Market to download Modern Combat 3. To their dismay, MC3 was still full price. That’s because Gameloft planned on having MC3 on sale for one day only, and they planned on keeping us on edge as to when it would go on sale. Well, today’s the day. You’re going to want to hurry fast because this offer only stands for today, and grabbing a console quality game such as MC3 for only $0.99 is like Christmas all over again.

Gameloft will be kicking off their New Year’s game promotion December 29, and will be offering all of their games from the Android Market for $0.99. Gameloft is well known for their console quality games and currently has 32 games in the Android Market. The promotion will run for one week and features hit titles such as Asphalt 6: Adrenaline HD, 9mm HD, NFL Pro 2012, and more. Most will remain $0.99 throughout the promotional period with the exception of Modern Combat 3, which will be discounted for one day only.

As the NFL regular season comes to an end, some of you are destined to watch your favorite team sidelined from the playoffs and there’s nothing you can do about it — or is there? NFL Pro 2012 gives you a virtual world in which to enact your revenge on your rivals by playing and managing one of 32 NFL teams with over 2,000 real players.

Gameloft is on a roll lately and continues launching hit titles onto the Android Market. This one is no different other than its “free” price tag. That’s right, it’s free (with optional in-app purchases of course), and offers the ability to avoid any extra cost by completing challenges to gain new features. NFL Pro 2012 brings the astro turf to the palm of your hands along with great features such as:

Gameloft has since been known for two things: visually stunning games, and frustration. The quality of their games is obvious and although many will complain they are blatant ‘rip-offs,’ I, for one, welcome them. However, Gameloft’s Android track record isn’t the greatest. They usually make you jump through hoops to get any promotions they offer and up until recently — they hardly released games into the Android Market. Thankfully we’re starting to see Gameloft embrace the Android Market a bit more and that testament comes in their latest release of Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation. We’ll give you a brief synopsis of the game and let you know about what we’ve been hearing.
