A number of third-party cases designed to fit the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S IV have been obtained by British accessory retailer MobileFun. Made by a “trusted” Chinese manufacturer, the cases give us an idea of the size and shape of Samsung’s much-anticipated flagship, which looks to be nowhere near as curvy as its predecessor.

We’ve spent weeks drooling over leaked renders and rumored specifications for the HTC One, but at press events in London and New York today, the device finally got its official unveiling. Thanks to all those rumors, there wasn’t a great deal of surprise in HTC’s announcement. But nevertheless, the One looks like an incredible smartphone.

In addition to its 4.7-inch LCD display, which boasts a full 1080p resolution with 468 pixels-per-inch, the One sports a gorgeous form factor (one of the nicest I’ve seen on an Android device), a 1.7GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and a new “UltraPixel” camera technology that captures around three times more light than than conventional 8-megapixel cameras.

So it’s no wonder that Android fans are eagerly anticipating its arrival. According to the latest report, the device will get its grand unveiling on March 14 at an event in New York.

Samsung is set to announce the Galaxy S IV, its next-generation Android flagship, on March 15 — before it goes on sale in early April. That’s according to a “trusted insider,” who claims the location of Samsung’s Unpacked event is still “top-secret.” Invitations will reportedly go out to the press just after Mobile World Congress at the end of this month.
