“Would the owner of a T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II please report to the Kies service desk at 11 p.m. EST,” “you have an Android 4.0.3 update waiting for you.”

That’s right, the T-Mobile Galaxy S II is set to receive Android 4.0.3 tonight, and although it isn’t Android 4.0.4, it’s still Ice Cream Sandwich, so I’m sure you Galaxy S II owners won’t be complaining — much.

Vodafone and Samsung have finally made Ice Cream Sandwich available to Vodafone Samsung Galaxy S II users. Starting today, users will be able to update to Android 4.0.3 via Samsung’s Kies software. For those who can’t be bothered with Kies, you’ll have to wait another few days before Vodafone begins pushing the update OTA.

Owners of the HSPA+ version of the Galaxy Nexus, GSM Nexus S, and Xoom Wi-Fi should be noticing Android 4.0.4 hitting their devices sometime this evening. The update, which just began rolling out earlier this afternoon, brings stability improvements, better camera performance, smoother screen rotation, improved phone number recognition, and more. Google announced the update on their Google Plus page, earlier this afternoon.

Samsung Galaxy S II users in Europe, Korea, and other select markets around the globe are being treated to Ice Cream Sandwich thanks to an update that began rolling out last night. Unfortunately U.S. users will have to sit tight as it hasn’t landed in the states just yet. It’s great to see devices being updated and we welcome all new users to the exclusive Ice Cream Sandwich club. Samsung also announced they would be updating a slew of devices to a newer Gingerbread firmware:

Samsung continues firing at Apple with their latest barrage of Samsung Galaxy S II ads. You won’t see any more “Samsunged” catchphrases, but there’s plenty of the usual jabs being taken at the expense of a certain “other” device. These ads are spin offs of previous ads and feature the “creative barista” and his urban camping friends, as well as a love triangle between an iFan, a sales lady with a Samsung Galaxy S II, and voice-to-text.
