Vodafone Finally Gets Ice Cream Sandwich Out To Its Galaxy S II Users

Vodafone and Samsung have finally made Ice Cream Sandwich available to Vodafone Samsung Galaxy S II users. Starting today, users will be able to update to Android 4.0.3 via Samsung’s Kies software. For those who can’t be bothered with Kies, you’ll have to wait another few days before Vodafone begins pushing the update OTA.

While many Korean and UK carriers began pushing out the Android 4.0 update to the Samsung Galaxy S II last month, Vodafone attributes their delay to “careful testing to ensure the highest level of quality for our customers.” Let’s hope that statement is true and users are able to update without a hitch. Head over to the Vodafone site for more information. Welcome to the club!
