Boy have we got a deal for you. Amazon Wireless has started offering the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus for a penny! That’s right, anyone signing up for a new 2-year contract or adding a line, can now grab one of the best devices of 2012 at an insane discount. Amazon Wireless it always at the forefront of discounting mobile devices and this deal is another testament to their awesomeness.

Verizon posted the update informationM for Android 4.0.4 IMM76K yesterday and we knew it wouldn’t be long before it started rolling out. Well, some lucky users are already seeing the update pop up on their device, but before you go getting excited, it appears to only be affecting a small batch of people. Of course, I’m not one of them, but that hasn’t stopped me from obsessively hitting the “check now” button.

Warning: Verizon and Sprint customers look away. Google has begun selling accessories for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus on the Google Play Store, only problem, they’re only compatible with the GSM/HSPA+ model. Oh yea, and you can only get them in the US. So essentially, the majority of GSM/HSPA+ users won’t be able to purchase these accessories from the Play Store and the majority of US Galaxy Nexus owners also won’t be able to purchase these accessories from the Play Store. Wake me up when this bad dream is over.

Google passed it along to Verizon months ago, but for some reason, Verizon just recently got around to approving it. Sure, we’ve seen it leak a couple of times, but never anything official from Verizon — until today.

It appears some Verizon Galaxy Nexus owners are being treated to an Android 4.0.4 IMM76K update today. While there’s been no official announcement of the update, it is indeed rolling out as Droid-Life users have been sending in screenshots to back up their claims (even a Verizon store unit was spotted rocking the update). I’ve been checking all day but to no avail.
