Earlier today, EA issued a press release for its upcoming SimCity. Within the release, it was revealed that both the game and EA’s Origin client would be making its way to Mac. This news not only signified the return of Sims to Mac, but also that EA was becoming more serious about getting its Steam competitor out to other platforms. I say platforms because later on during the company’s GamesCom press conference, they announced their plans to also bring Origin to Android, Facebook, and SmartTVs.

If you’re looking for a new rubber burning racing game to play on your Android device and have yet to experience EA’s Real Racing 2, you might want to consider picking it up now, while it’s only $0.99. Normally $4.99, Real Racing 2, with its critically-acclaimed racing simulation, has been providing countless hours of gameplay to Android users across the globe, and at its newly discounted price, EA is hoping to attract even more users to the franchise before releasing the highly anticipated Real Racing 3.

In what we can only explain as an extension of the Games For Guys promotion, EA is offering two more hit titles at $.99 a piece. If you head to the Google Play Store now, you’ll find both Mass Effect Infiltrator and NBA JAM on sale, giving you two great games for less than two dollars.

If you’re a dad like me, the only tie you want for Father’s day is this one. What we do want, are some kick ass games for guys. EA has answered our plea, and graciously discounted a slew of manly titles across multiple platforms.

This year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo has been chock full of mobile news and is a testament to the future of mobile gaming. Major gaming companies such as EA took stage to not only show off their console offerings, but their future mobile versions as well. This year, EA showed off a number of titles, two of which will be hitting Android and iOS later this fall.
