Although the handset is available for purchase in multiple markets, the device sold predominantly in China and its neighboring regions. Part of the reason for the handset’s massive success is its ultra-low price tag.

Chinese manufacturer BBK came up with the ingenious idea of announcing what was supposed to be the world’s first smartphone with a 2K resolution display, the only problem is, it is still yet to launch it. Oppo has hinted at the launch of its upcoming Oppo Find 7 smartphone by posting a cryptic teaser online. The teaser reveals the numbers 708979134102, which when read backwards is revealed to be 2014-3-19 — the date of its announcement.
