Oppo’s Cryptic Teaser Hints At Find 7 Event On March 19

Oppo Find 7

Oppo has hinted at the launch of its upcoming Oppo Find 7 smartphone by posting a cryptic teaser online. The teaser reveals the numbers 708979134102, which when read backwards is revealed to be 2014-3-19 — the date of its announcement.

The next three numbers — 798 — refer to the Art District in Beijing; while the last two digits refer to the timing of the announcement. So what this basically tells us is that the Oppo Find 7 will be unveiled on March 19 at 7 p.m. in Beijing’s Art District.

The Oppo Find 7 is rumored to feature a 5.5-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440) display, a Snapdragon 800 chipset, 4G LTE connectivity and hopefully Android 4.4 KitKat. Oppo devices are quite significant to global markets as they are launched in world markets in addition to its home region of China — unlike many other Chinese manufacturers.

›The Vivo Xplay 3S was the world’s first smartphone with a QHD resolution display, which sadly isn’t available in large quantities at the moment. This means global customers will have to look towards Oppo or perhaps Samsung for the next smartphone with a QHD display.
