Xiaomi, the Chinese electronics manufacturer that’s famous for taking inspiration from (copying) Apple, has ironically warned consumers not to buy knockoffs of its flagship devices after a recent increase in the number of copycat devices, which are looking to cash in on the company’s success in China.

Some manufacturers have seen great success in taking inspiration from (copying) popular Apple products, and now Nokia is getting in on the action. Its attractive, Android-powered iPad clone, called the N1, sold 20,000 units in just four minutes when it went on sale in China this week.

Motorola is making a comeback in China, and it has a trick up its sleeve that it is hoping will bring success in a market that’s obsessed with super-sized smartphones — a 6-inch Moto X with Quad HD display. The device is essentially a rebranded Nexus 6, and it’s joined by Motorola’s original 2014 Moto X and Moto G.

Samsung looks to be preparing for the launch of the Galaxy Mega 2, a 6-inch smartphone with a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor. The device has already been approved for China Mobile, and its official unveiling is expected soon.
