AT&T has once again broadened its horizons by launching its “super fast” LTE connectivity services to another 5 new locations across the United States. This announcement was made in a sequential series of press releases on the carrier’s official website.

Motorola has begun selling its new Moto G handset in the United States, with prices starting at just $179. Orders placed today are expected to ship by December 2, ensuring you’ll have your new handset in time for Christmas.

AT&T began its Android 4.4 KitKat soak test for the Moto X last week, and we had a feeling it wouldn’t be long before it was making the software available to the public — particularly after Verizon became the first to roll it out to its own customers.

So it wasn’t too much of a surprise to see Moto X customers with AT&T getting their KitKat updates over-the-air this weekend.

Verizon has already released it and AT&T has begun testing it, and now T-Mobile is making the Android 4.4 KitKat update available to its own Moto X customers — once again beating the Google Play Edition Galaxy S4 and HTC One to the update.

The update is rolling out over-the-air and it weighs in at just under 317MB.

To everyone’s surprise, Verizon became the first carrier to roll out an Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Motorola Moto X earlier this week, but it seems those on AT&T won’t have to wait too much longer, either. The company just kicked off its KitKat soak test for the device, which sees a small number of users invited to try the software early.
