KitKat 10

As promised, AT&T is now in the process of pushing out the much-anticipated KitKat update to all its carrier-branded One Mini variants currently located in the United States. In terms of functionality, the upgrade will bring the latest build of Android 4.4.2 and Sense 5.5 to the handset, in addition to the usual deluge of bug fixes and stability improvements.

Galaxy-Note-3-KitKat

Android 4.4.2 KitKat is now rolling out to Samsung Galaxy Note 3 owners on AT&T. The update brings some nice user interface changes — including white menu bar icons and album art on the lock screen — as well as security improvements, Google Cloud Print, and more.

HTC’s Executive Director of Product Management took to Twitter earlier today to announce that the AT&T-branded variant of the One Mini, is expected to receive the much-anticipated KitKat update by the end of this week. The upgrade will bring the latest build of Android 4.4.2 and Sense 5.5 to the handset, in addition to the usual multitude of bug fixes and stability improvements.

New HTC One (M8)

LTE-Advanced networks are slowly making their way to the U.S. courtesy of AT&T, which recently kicked off the service in Chicago using carrier aggregation. But lack of proper hardware was believed to be one of the issues holding back adoption. However that could change as the newly launched HTC One (M8) is revealed to feature support for carrier aggregation.

T-Mobile has today begun taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S5 ahead of its U.S. release on April 11. The handset costs $660 upfront — $10 more than AT&T is charging — or customers can spread the cost out over two years for $24.70 a month.
