A couple of days ago, the Dropbox team gave the Android community a sneak peek at their redesigned Dropbox app for Android. Version 2.0 looked great and was quick to flaunt its Ice Cream Sandwich optimizations. While there was no word as to when the update was going to make it to market, we knew it would be soon. Well guess what? Today’s that day, and we’re happy to announce that Dropbox 2.0 for Android is now available for download in the Android Market.

Do you guys remember that bearded dragon we showed you? You know, the one playing ant smasher on his favorite Android device? Well it looks like he has some competition, and while his opponent shares an affinity for green and a hunger for ants, he’s not a reptile. That’s right, move over Larry* the Lizard, because Barry* the African bull frog is moving in, and he’s ready to eat anything (literally) that comes near his screen.

What we have next, is an Android device, an ant smasher game, an African bull frog, and one over zealous thumb — what could possibly go wrong? You’ll find out after the break.

Grand Theft Auto III: Ten Year Anniversary Edition was released onto the Android Market only a few days ago and it’s already seeing a holiday discount. Now until December 29th, Rockstar Games is offering GTA III for only $2.99. This is an amazing deal for one of the most critically acclaimed open world franchises of all time. The mobile version does not disappoint, and comes packed with features such as:

Ordering a Papa John’s pizza from just about anywhere has just become a reality for Android users. Papa John’s has released an app into the Android Market that allows users to view the entire Papa John’s menu and place an order, all while on the go. Papa John’s is already the self proclaimed “leader in desktop and mobile web ordering,” so releasing an Android app was just pepporoni on the pizza. Features of the new Papa John’s Pizza app for Android include:

Popular third party app store GetJar is holding its own holiday sale for the month of December. They’ve put up a dedicated site with a scrollable list of paid apps from A to Z which have been discounted to the low price of — free! With over 100 apps to choose from, you’ll find many popular titles have been discounted. I quickly skimmed over the list and was surprised to find hits like Age of Zombies, Beautiful Widgets (first app to surpass 1 million paid downloads), Fruit Ninja, and more.

To take advantage of this sale, you will of course have to download the GetJar app store, but if you don’t mind another app store on your device, then it’s worth it to get all the free apps. All these apps store competing against each other, giving away apps for free to attract customers — isn’t competition great! This particular sale is for a limited time only so hit the link after the break and start enjoying some free apps courtesy of GetJar.
