Popular cloud-gaming service OnLive recently decided to expand its offerings to include cloud-computing. Last month they launched their OnLive Desktop service for the iPad which allowed users to access a copy of Windows 7 that included a variety of apps such as Microsoft Office via the cloud. Yesterday, OnLive brought that same functionality to Android tablets. Android users can now download OnLive Desktop for free in the Android Market.


Popular cloud backup service SugarSync pushed a nice update to its Android app today. Not only did they add support for Android’s latest OS version Ice Cream Sandwich, but they also managed to squeeze in some great new features along with ways to increase storage for free. Our favorite little social app was updated today and while it didn’t include any new features, it did fix a few bugs and improve performance. The GSMA has announced the winners of the 17th Annual Global Mobile Awards which took place yesterday at Mobile World Congress. The top mobile products and services were showcased and there was even some entertainment with comedian/songwriter Tim Minchine as the host. Categories ranged from Best Consumer Mobile Service to Best Mobile Innovation for Publishing and while we love hearing about innovative products, it’s really the hardware categories that had us talking.

User satisfaction in the mobile ecosystem is quite a roller coaster of information and emotion.
