Its first impact on the contextually-aware launcher was to open up another 25,000 beta spots to provide access to a wider audience.

Motorola chose to use the handset’s excellent Active Display technology to notify you of new alerts as they come in, but the handset does have an unused LED light as well. Today, Verizon posted an official update page on its website for its forthcoming over-the-air upgrade for Samsung’s former flagship tablet of 2012, the Galaxy Note 10.1. Software version JZ054K.I925VRAMK1 is scheduled to bring two new greatly anticipated applications to the slate — Samsung WatchOn and S Educate — in addition to a multitude of stability updates and bug fixes.

Earlier today, T-Mobile announced that it’s in the throes of expanding its LTE connectivity service to include a further 14 new markets. The announcement was made in a single press release on the carrier’s website and the operator didn’t hesitate to take the opportunity to mention that its service now provides “super fast” data speeds to over 200 million people in the United States.

Motorola has today begun rolling out its Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the Moto G, making it the first third-party handset to get Google’s latest software after Google’s own Nexus 5. The new software brings user interface changes, performance enhancements, and app updates to the £135 smartphone.
