Starbucks has confirmed that it will be revamping its mobile app to add digital tipping and a new user interface later this month. The update will also bring a new “shake to pay” feature that will provide quick and easy access to your Starbucks Card barcode.

Samsung has confirmed that its new Galaxy S5 will be available to pre-order in the United Kingdom from Friday, March 28, ahead of its April 11 launch. Fans can register their interest in the device on Samsung’s website to receive a reminder email when the big day arrives.

Version 5.2 comes in the form of a rather hefty update and brings with it the ability to take action on incoming tweets directly from the notification panel; enabling users to reply, retweet and favourite posts.

Sony unveiled its latest affordable dual-SIM Android-powered smartphone, the Xperia E1, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas back in January and now, with no official announcement, the handset is available to buy from Infibeam, an independent electronics retailer in India, for 9,899 INR — which equates to approximately $162, with a free pair of Sony MDR-ZX110A headphones thrown in.
