Starting today, Sprint customers can pre-order Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone of 2014, the Galaxy S5, which is set to officially go on sale in the United States on Friday, April 11. As far as pricing goes, the handset will retail for $199 on any of the operators two-year contracts, or for a pretty hefty $649 if you decide to buy the device outright on a prepaid plan.

Amazon is today continuing its Appstore birthday celebrations by making $50 worth of hit Android apps completely free for a limited time. Some of the titles in the bundle include Polaris Office, mSecure Password Manager, Monopoly, and Skethbook Pro.

As promised, AT&T has today begun taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the new Galaxy Gear smartwatch lineup. The handset itself will cost you $199.99 upfront on a two-year contract, followed by monthly payments starting at $25 on an AT&T Next plan.

Following the pre-orders of AT&T and U.S. Cellular variants of the Samsung Galaxy S5, T-Mobile will follow suit starting this Monday on the 24th of March. The carrier is offering the smartphone with zero down payment and $27.50 per month for a period of two years. This equates to about $660, which isn’t too steep for a flagship device.
