As promised, AT&T has today begun taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the new Galaxy Gear smartwatch lineup. The handset itself will cost you $199.99 upfront on a two-year contract, followed by monthly payments starting at $25 on an AT&T Next plan.

You can also purchase the handset outright on AT&T for $649.99. The carrier is offering the black and white models initially, with no sign of the blue and gold ones just yet.

If you order your device before June 5, you’ll get $50 off a Galaxy Gear 2, Galaxy Gear 2 Neo, or Galaxy Gear Fit. Without the $50 reduction, the Galaxy Gear 2 is priced at $299, and the other two models are priced at $199.

AT&T announced yesterday that the Galaxy S5 and the new Galaxy Gears will begin shipping in “early April.” According to the company’s online store today, the exact date is Tuesday, April 8.
