It is customary for Samsung to launch several variants of one smartphone to make an impact on a wide range of customers. The company has followed this trend with the Galaxy S III Zoom from 2012 followed by the Galaxy S4 Zoom last year. We came across the specs of the Galaxy S5 Zoom as well a couple of weeks ago, thanks to a benchmark listing of the device. T-Mobile has today begun taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S5 ahead of its U.S. release on April 11. The handset costs $660 upfront — $10 more than AT&T is charging — or customers can spread the cost out over two years for $24.70 a month.

The upcoming OnePlus One has been upgraded ahead of its release with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 801 processor.

The handset was to launch with its predecessor, the Snapdragon 800, but it’ll now boast the same CPU that powers the Samsung Galaxy S5, the Sony Xperia Z2, and the All New HTC One.
