David Ortiz - Barack Obama

Samsung has just made a major celebrity signing in the form of Boston Red Sox star David Ortiz. Expectedly, the MLB star made full use of this as he posed for a selfie using his Galaxy Note 3 with the U.S. President Barack Obama only a day after he closed the deal with Samsung. The Korean manufacturer signed a similar deal with TV star Ellen DeGeneres who was part of the ‘most retweeted photo ever’ at the recently held Academy Awards function.

Drop Test

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is immune to water spills or even dust, but its durability is not known to us yet. But thanks to a new drop test conducted on video, we now get an idea as to how sturdy the smartphone really is. The handset was compared along with the Galaxy S4 from last year to give us a better idea of how much has changed in terms of durability.
