Motorola-Moto-E

Motorola is continuing its assault against lackluster affordable phones by making improvements to an existing device and introducing a new one. In addition to adding LTE connectivity to the incredibly popular Moto G, the company today announced the Moto E, an even cheaper handset that boasts some of the Moto lineup’s best features.

The Moto G is one of the most impressive Android-powered smartphones on the market. It’s cheap, feature-packed as well as pleasing to the eye, but something it lacks is LTE compatibility — which is rather disappointing. However, it looks like that’s about to change. A recent online listing reveals that Motorola is in the process of manufacturing another variant of its reasonably-priced handset which is capable of handling universal LTE bands which you can preorder starting today for just $219.

As promised earlier this year, HTC is in the process rolling out the first batch of its eagerly-awaited Sense 6.0 over-the-air (OTA) update to all unlocked models of its former flagship smartphone, the One (M7), currently located in Canada. This upgrade also brings a few other major improvements, including a new camera app, enhanced BlinkFeed, Extreme Power Saving mode and a transparent status bar.

Monitoring the speed of your smartphone’s processor can be hugely beneficial, particularly to those with battery life problems who may have installed buggy apps that aren’t idling in the background. And now it couldn’t be simpler to keep an eye on CPU information at all times, thanks to a new tweak that puts real-time speeds in your status bar.
