Google has announced it’s in the midst of developing a new feature that’ll be built into its search results function over the course of the next few weeks. ‘Search Compatibility,’ will indicate if a webpage is going to face a problem when being viewed on particular Android and iOS mobile devices, including smartphones, iPhones, tablets and iPads.

MediaTek might not be as popular a chip vendor as Qualcomm but the company has played a major role in many Chinese and Indian OEMs releasing sub-100$ Android phones.

Today, the company announced its next-generation high-end chipset — the MT6795 — featuring a 64-bit true Octa-core processor with 2K display and LTE support. This means that the CPU can theoretically run all of its eight cores at the same time if the situation demands.

Google has started rolling out a minor Android 4.4.4 (KitKat MR 2.2) update for the Nexus 5 in selected regions of the world. The update does not include any major or even minor visual or under-the-hood changes and only contains some carrier compatibility and other network related fixes.

The latest build (KTU84Q) of Google’s recently updated operating system, 4.4.4 KitKat Release 2, is now officially available to download for Nexus 5’s in Australia (Telstra), New Zealand (2Degrees) and India. However, this update doesn’t use Android’s standard over-the-air (OTA) upgrade process. Instead, you will need to download the 4.4.4 factory images and install them on your device via the search engine giants Developer Platform.
