Let me just say “Happy Mother’s Day” to all the moms out there on this glorious Sunday. While you give out hugs and kisses to the woman who gave birth to you (or raised you), we’ll be giving out some awesome Android swag. Last week we were giving away three series 02 Android mini collectible and today we’re going to announce the lucky winners as well as give you a chance to win some new swag.

We simply love wallpapers. They’re one of the first changes we make to our Android devices and often represent our moods, interests, or wicked alter egos. They’re as unique as the individuals who use them and while some people pick one and stick with it, others change them more often than a teenager’s Facebook status. Each day we’re going to feature a free wallpaper for you to download and use on your Android device. Depending on your device, you may want to use your favorite photo editing software to resize the image for a better fit. Once that’s done, apply and enjoy. Your homescreen can thank us later. Cheers!

You may have seen the above image making its rounds today, depicting the 400 devices used for Android app testing by the company Animoca. While Animoca themselves embrace the choices Android users have, opponents quickly began blurting out the “F” word again — as if it would magically make Android’s commanding market share simply disappear.

“We like fragmentation as users prefer choice. We are not big believers that one size fits all.” – Yat Siu, CEO of Animoca’s parent company Outblaze

Animoca’s testing methods are a bit overkill and they could have saved themselves a good amount of money by simply using the emulator and some beta testers, but I have to admit, having all those devices to play with sure looks like fun.

Amazon Wireless is my favorite mobile online retailer, as they always seem to offer the best deals. They’re at it again, this time discounting the yet to be released HTC EVO 4G LTE for Sprint. Amazon Wireless has opened pre-orders for the device for $50 less than Sprint and it seems to be open to existing customers as well as new customers.

Turntable.fm has finally come to Android, allowing you to join in and battle your friends for virtual DJ supremacy. Turntable.fm allows you and your friends to take turns playing DJ to a virtual room of listeners. Listeners get to vote whether the song is awesome or lame and if it receives too many lame votes, it gets skipped. It’s a great way to discover new music and have fun as you chat with friends and listen to an eclectic mix of music.
