GTA: Vice City looks better than ever.

Rockstar Games is bringing Grand Theft Auto: Vice City — the best game in the GTA series, in my opinion — to Android and iOS on Thursday (like you didn’t already know that!) to celebrate its 10th anniversary. And to ensure we’re super excited for its release, the company has teased us with a few screenshots from the game.

They’ll look very familiar to you if you’ve already played Vice City before, because it’s almost exactly the same game. But look closely and you’ll notice the game looks a whole lot nicer this time around.

We simply love wallpapers. They’re one of the first changes we make to our Android devices and often represent our moods, interests, or wicked alter egos. They’re as unique as the individuals who use them and while some people pick one and stick with it, others change them more often than a teenager’s Facebook status. Each day we’re going to feature a free wallpaper for you to download and use on your Android device. Depending on your device, you may want to use your favorite photo editing software to resize the image for a better fit. Once that’s done, apply and enjoy. Your home screen can thank us later. We have some great news for all you AT&T Galaxy S III owners out there. A handful of users are reporting that Jelly Bean is now available via Kies. No need to wait for an official announcement from AT&T, simply update to the latest version of Kies, plug in your Galaxy S III and let the fun begin.

While I should be used to this by now, I just can’t help but feel depressed every time a new Android distribution chart comes out. You see, way too many devices are left running outdated versions of Android and it’s really the average consumer who ends up getting the shaft.

If you didn’t already know, Google likes to name Android’s major iterations after tasty desserts. Starting with Cupcake and proceeding alphabetically, we’ve had Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, and now Jelly Bean. “K” is up next, and after a few rumors and process of elimination, most of us have made up our minds that the next iteration will be called Key Lime Pie. However, if you’re a skeptic, or are still holding out for Kahlua cheesecake, you might want to check out the drawing by Googler Manu Cornet.
