We were happy to see the Calendar app find its way into the Play store as it meant we would be treated to more frequent updates. One such update has just hit the Calendar app and can be downloaded via the Play store. In this recent update, Google has added a few Google Now-ish features which will be a treat for those of you running Ice Cream Sandwich.

In case you haven’t heard, Jelly Bean began rolling out to the Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE today. Not only does it bring all the goodies of Android 4.1.1, but it also includes Sense 4+ — for those of you that are into that sort of thing. If the update hasn’t hit your device yet, you might want to head over to Settings>System updates>HTC Software Update>Check now and give that a go.

I’d say the single most annoying part of my mobile experience is when I accidentally click on a strategically placed ad. Most of the time, ads are placed in close proximity to where a user needs to touch in order to scroll or advance — not to mention there’s little screen real estate to begin with. Thankfully, and surprisingly, Google has been working on making accidental clicks a thing of the past.

Are you a big Angry Birds fan? Rovio’s media onslaught is set to hit the big screen, with a 3D CGI feature film produced by Despicable Me and Ice Age alum John Cohen helming. Yay?

It’s always tough to tell just how well a device is selling, but one method of gauging a devices success is how many are continuing to be manufactured. According to a DigiTime report, Taiwan-based supply chain makers are expecting sales of the Google Nexus 7 to exceed one million units in the month of December.
