A number of new Galaxy S IV case images have made their way onto the web, courtesy of our friends at MobileFun. They sport a slightly different design than those that surfaced earlier this month, and they support the latest leaked photos we’ve seen of the Galaxy S IV.

LG has attempted to overshadow Samsung’s massive Galaxy S IV billboards in Times Square by erecting a few of its own — directly above them. LG’s are bigger, brighter, and higher up, and they mock Samsung’s use of the number 4 in its “be ready 4 the next Galaxy” slogan.

Google is famous for its “open” approach to Android apps and its willingness to allow almost anything to be sold through Google Play. But the company has begun taking a stance against a certain kind of app. Don’t worry, it’s not pulling your favorite porn apps — instead it is ad blockers that Google has decided it doesn’t like.

It’s now just a matter of hours before Samsung shows up in New York City’s Times Square and unveils its much-anticipated Galaxy S IV. But it looks like someone’s already gone ahead and spoiled the surprise — again. The device has today been leaked in a gallery of high quality photographs posted to a Chinese message board, which come with a detailed list of specifications attached.

Goodbye Google Reader, we hardly knew ye.

In an official post at the Google Reader blog and the Google blog, the search giant has announced today that it will retire Google Reader, a fantastic RSS service in its own right, shutting it down on July 1, 2013.
