Samsung’s Galaxy Gear smartwatch went on sale in Europe this week, but if you want to buy one, you’ll need a Galaxy Note 3 or the latest Galaxy Tab 10.1 to go with it, because they’re the only devices that currently support it. But you may not be surprised to hear that Samsung’s working hard to bring Galaxy Gear support to its latest flagship, too.

One company executive has revealed that the Galaxy S4 will be updated to support Galaxy Gear in October.

Yesterday, Google officially announced the expanding availability of its Play Books service to New Zealand and an additional 8 new countries across Asia. This expansion bumps the total number of supported countries up to 36.

HTC has pushed out an unexpected over-the-air (OTA) update to all One devices in Taiwan. The upgrade brings Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and Sense 5 to the handset, complete with a multitude of additional bug fixes and speed optimizations, as well as a new charging animation for when the handset is off.
