It looks like you may want to hold onto your upgrade just a bit longer. According to NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsung, Tegra 3 devices being announced at Mobile World Congress will ship this quarter:

“This quarter we are expecting to ship Tegra 3 based superphones. At Mobile World Congress is when we expect to announce these devices, and we expect to announce and ship them this quarter.”

That’s a pretty bold statement, which if true, means we may see quad-core phones by the end of March! I sure hope he’s right.

Popular productivity app Evernote got an update yesterday to fix some bugs as well as improve on features. Evernote is by far one of the best notepad utilities and the fact that it’s free is amazing. If you use the Android app then you’re going to want to grab the update as it:

Say Goodbye to Sony Ericsson. Today Sony Ericsson officially becomes Sony Mobile Communications. The acquisition announced back in October is finally complete and will allow Sony to focus more on integrating their mobile products into their large array of consumer electronics products. I, for one, look forward to a completely connected home where my mobile devices interact with my consumer electronics. Many companies are working towards this goal and Sony has taken the right steps by acquiring Ericsson’s half.

Facebook for Android was updated late last night but we’ve yet to see a new changelog so we have no idea what’s new. The changelog they have up in the market right now is an old one so don’t pay attention to it. Either way, you’re going to want to grab the update as something is new.
