We’ve already determined that Apple is just a jealous little child, but I’m getting quite tired of the whole “Slide To Unlock” patent crap. It’s a ridiculous patent, and one that only gets worse with each new version granted. Rather than sit here and argue why Android should be able to use similar methods, I ask: “Why the hell do we even need it?”

There’s been plenty of debate over whether or not Microsoft will ever bring its Office productivity suite to Android and iOS devices. Many reports have claimed it will, while Microsoft itself has denied the rumors. But now product manager Petr Bobek has confirmed that it will happen next year.

Looks like T-Mobile just found itself its next best seller. T-Mobile has announced that the Samsung Galaxy Note II will be available on their network this fall. “This Fall” seems to be the new launch date for everything, but at least we know it’s not far off (couple weeks). T-Mobile hasn’t revealed pricing, but we know they will be carrying both the Titanium Gray and Marble White color options, each of which will sport:

It’s no secret that I love Android. I spend countless hours talking about it, writing about it, and best of all — enjoying it. I mean, what’s the point if you’re not having fun… right? Jean-Baptiste Queru announced Android 4.1.2 to AOSP today, something he calls a “minor update.” While it may be “minor,” reports of the update hitting the Nexus 7 have confirmed one improvement that I’ve been wishing for since I bought my Nexus 7 — landscape support for the home screen.
