Unfortunately, HTC was unable to meet its initial goal of updating the Evo 4G LTE by the end of 2013, leaving many of us disappointed. But, today, Jason Mackenzie, President of HTC America, officially revealed on Twitter that the update will be pushed to Sprint for review in “mid-January” and is expected to reach our devices by way of an over-the-air (OTA) update sometime in February.

An unconfirmed Samsung smartphone has passed through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The information included in the brief filing documentation reveals that we could potentially be looking at the Galaxy Grand Lite — a scaled down variant to the Grand 2 that was introduced to the South Korean company’s lineup of affordable handsets last month.
