Samsung has released two new promotional videos for the Galaxy S5 today, focusing on the handset’s design and new features. One showcases its much-improved new back panel, slimmer form factor, and larger display; while the other highlights things like the 2,800mAh battery, its 2.5GHz quad-core processor, and its new software features.

LG officially announced that its first curved self-healing smartphone, the G Flex, was presented with a Gold Award earlier today, along with 26 of its other products at the iF Design Awards conference in Denmark. This came as quite a nice surprise to the South Korean company seeing that the Flex was the first handset on the market to feature a vertically curved display, and there was no real certainty that it would be welcomed by the public.

HTC might as well cancel its March 25 event in New York City, because the leakers are doing a great job of unveiling the “All New HTC One” ahead of time.

Samsung has confirmed the existence of a new Galaxy Tab 4 lineup on its own website ahead of the tablet’s official unveiling. The device, which will be available in 7-, 8-, and 10.1-inch variants, is mentioned in a list of devices compatible with the new Galaxy Gear Fit health tracker.

Windows-Phone-on-HTC

New smartphones that run both Android and Windows Phone will start shipping by June, thanks to Indian handset maker Karbonn Mobiles.

The company will launch a series of Windows Phone 8 smartphones in the coming months after signing a new licensing deal with Microsoft, then its dual-booting handsets will follow in the summer, reports The Times of India.
