All New HTC One Appears In More Spy Shots [Leak]

HTC really needs to step up its security over unreleased devices, because it has to be the worst when it comes to product leaks.

We’re just under a month away from the unveiling of its “All New HTC One,” and yet again the handset has been pictured out in the wild. These aren’t the sharpest of snaps, but they do give us a nice look at the handset’s new rear-facing camera sensors (yes, there are two).

This is obviously the silver variant of the new HTC One — there will also be gold and gray models — and it looks a lot like its predecessor. Its differences are easily noticeable, however.

The biggest is on the back of the device: in addition to a new dual-LED flash, the new HTC One has not one but two rear-facing camera sensors. It’s still unclear what exactly they’ll be used for, but we’re certainly looking forward to seeing what HTC has planned for them — and indeed how it sells them to consumers.

Around the front of the device, the changes are a little more subtle. The device looks the same at first glance, but if you look closely, you’ll notice its capacitive touch buttons are gone (it will have virtual, on-screen ones instead), and its ambient light and proximity sensors have been repositioned.

The images come from a member of HardForum, who claims that the new HTC One is both thinner and taller than last year’s model, with a 4-megapixel front-facing camera. Recent reports have claimed it will also boast a larger display, a new Snapdragon processor, and improved BoomSound speakers.
