Optimus G Pro

Two of the most popular Korean operators, SKT and LG U+, are in the midst of pushing out an unexpected over-the-air (OTA) update to all Optimus G Pro handsets located in South Korea. In terms of functionality, the upgrade brings Android 4.4.2 KitKat and Sense 5.5 to the device, complete with the usual plethora of bug fixes, speed optimizations and stability improvements that we’ve grown to expect from any major software update.

Starting today, Sprint customers can pre-order Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone of 2014, the Galaxy S5, which is set to officially go on sale in the United States on Friday, April 11. As far as pricing goes, the handset will retail for $199 on any of the operators two-year contracts, or for a pretty hefty $649 if you decide to buy the device outright on a prepaid plan.

If you’re as excited about the All New HTC One as we are, then you’ll be pleased to know you’ll be able to watch its grand unveiling live on the HTC website. The Taiwanese company has confirmed that it will stream the whole show from New York City on Tuesday, March 25.

As promised, AT&T has today begun taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the new Galaxy Gear smartwatch lineup. The handset itself will cost you $199.99 upfront on a two-year contract, followed by monthly payments starting at $25 on an AT&T Next plan.
