When Samsung launched the Gear 2 and the Gear Fit smartwatches last month, it was widely believed that these devices are running the Tizen OS. However, it has now come to light that only the Gear 2 is running Tizen while the Gear Fit runs on real-time operating system or RTOS.

Android Wear is undeniably better looking and more exciting than any other smartwatch platform that’s available today, but if you’re hoping existing smartwatch makers are going to abandon what they’ve already created to adopt it, you’re going to be disappointed.

Sony has confirmed that it currently has no plans to bring Android Wear to its SmartWatch wearables, and that it will stick to its own Android-based platform instead.

Like a lot of modern smartphones, the HTC One M8 is “extremely difficult” to repair. That’s according to the fine folks over at iFixit, who performed one of their customary teardowns on the new flagship shortly after its release on Tuesday.

It’s easier to get into than its predecessor, which received the worst repairability score of any smartphone iFixit has pulled apart — but things get much more difficult once you’re inside.

America’s fourth largest carrier T-Mobile has officially announced the availability of the new HTC One. The premier HTC flagship will be available for online and in-store purchase from the carrier starting from April 11.
