T-Mobile Launching The New HTC One On April 11

HTC One (M8)

America’s fourth largest carrier T-Mobile has officially announced the availability of the new HTC One. The premier HTC flagship will be available for online and in-store purchase from the carrier starting from April 11.

This is a bit late compared to carriers like Verizon, Sprint and AT&T which are offering the smartphone immediately. But T-Mobile will hope to leverage its reputation as the customer friendly carrier and translate some of that into sales this April.

Customers can get the smartphone through the carrier’s monthly installment plan with $0 down payment and $26.50 per month for a period of two years, which roughly translates to an off contract price of $636.

Interestingly, April 11 is when the Samsung Galaxy S5 is expected to be launched as well, so T-Mobile customers will have to choose between the Samsung and the HTC flagship when it becomes available.

Fans are already pretty hopeful about the HTC One (M8) thanks to a wide range of features that it packs. While the camera reportedly leaves a lot to be desired, the overall performance of the handset has been praised by a number of reviewers.
